Some things to expect at camp

Camp Life

You'll wake up no later than 7:00 am and out the door for your morning run at 7:15am

The scenery may be different every day as the coaches switch up the trails.

There are hills.

You may see some deer and other wildlife. Humpback Whales and Transient Orcas can be sited from shore in July.

If you're up for it there is an afternoon run.

Wondering about the food. Tasty and amazing!

Trip to Port Townsend

Expect some fun on the ferry and the trip over and back.

Bring some $ in case you want to buy something. There are shops and you may want to buy something to remember the experience.

There will be a sand castle competition. Get some ideas going.

Learn

Be prepared to take notes.
There will be experts on nutrition, goal setting, race tactics, journaling, etc.

Warming up before a race. Gear for cross country. Best shoes for every course.

Coach Tyson & Pre - Fun

If you have questions about Steve Prefontaine this is your chance.  Coach Tyson was Pre's roommate at the University of Oregon and has all the stories. The way he trained. What motivated him. What kind of ice cream he liked. About the Olympics.

Movie night. Skit night. Bonfires
