Meet at the Main Entrance to Hayward Field for the Prefontaine Classic
Look for our group - Nick will have a YR Shirt on.
The meet goes from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
IF you already have a ticket meet us after to meet Coach Pat Tyson who was an Oregon athlete and the roommate of Steve Prefontaine. Then join us for a run.
AFTER THE MEET 3:00 PM
We’ll meet with Coach Pat Tyson at the entry plaza, then a group run.
Bring your own water bottle.

About Camp
We’ve taken campers to the World Championships and the Olympic Trials. For this camp many will be preparing for their competition at nationals.
On the way to Pre’s Rock
Running
If you’re thinking about Oregon for college this is a good chance to see the area. We’ll be running around campus, up to Hendricks Park, and Pre’s Trail.
It was a rare opportunity to visit former Oregon coach Bill Dellinger at his home during the Oly Trials Camp.
Experience
Campers last year called the Olympic Trials Camp a once in a lifetime experience.
What to Bring
All you need is your water bottle. We’ll have sunscreen and snacks.
We will be moving around to different locations. A small backpack is helpful.
This is a floating schedule and we’ll adapt as needed.
