Youth Runner Elite Middle School Camper Alums Have Success in 2018 XC Season

Taylin Bowin was 6th in the 11-12 girls race, Ainslee Knox 24th, Sydney Collier 45th, Zara Munyer 94th, Olivia Buswell 116th, Sophia Buswell 148th.

Barrett Justema took 8th in the 13-14 girls, Lily Mourer 19th, Lila Crowley was 39th and her team the Parker Panthers won the team award for the fourth year in a row, Petra Schuster 189th.

11-12 boys Max Cervi-Skinner ran an incredible race for 5th, Everett Cappell 6th, Zack Cervi-Skinner 12th, Andrew Burr 50th, Joachim Jakuc 58th, Alex Jones 186th, Ethan Hickok 191st.

In the 13-14 boys it was Ben Balazs 8th, Drew Oliver 11th, William Schneider 17th, Wes Shipsey 23rd, Logan Law 25th, Carter Joy 88th, Cody Aldridge 181st.

Other successes included Noah McMahon who won most of his regular season races, 9th at regionals and middle of the pack at nationals.

Nathan Morales was new to running when he came to camp but he went home and won a string of races including the biggest middle school xc meet in Texas and 9th at the Nike South XC Invitational.

Kaylee Coll won both of her regular season meets.

Leilani Gibson won the middle school mile at the New York Armory this month and is heading to the Colgate Women's Games finals in the 1500m on Feb. 2nd.

Clara James-Heer 1st in the 11-12 girls 3000m at AAU Nationals.

Max Huang was 4th in the 12-year old race at AAU Nationals, 2nd at USATF Regionals, 1st at Foot Locker NE.

Zack Haseley was All-American at AAU Nationals and is running his first indoor meet of the season this Sunday.

Mary-Kate Jantzer had an injury during xc but will be back for track. She was the rock-paper-scissors champ at the camp.

Miguel Pantojas De Jesus ran 1st for Seminole County MS XC Championship in Florida, 5th FLYRA MS State Cross Country Championship and 1st at the Puerto Rico National XC Championship w/a new event & age group record.

Jordynn West won the 13-14 girls mile at the Joe Deloach Invitational in Texas earlier this month and then broke the meet record in the 3000m, won the 1500m, 2nd in the 800m at the AAU Northern Indoor Championships.

Alex Mader came in second in the California state meet for Division V, and ended up being the fastest runner on the team, edging out the star senior captain in the state meet. He was also named to the California all-freshman team which crosses all divisions.

Our dates this year will be August 5-9th with early arrival kids coming in on August 4th.
